Friday, December 12, 2008 I know it's a dead blog. I know I have not been updating. I know no one visits my blog anymore. But who cares lol? Little updates of what happened. Topic 1 - Kami vs Money I didn't get to buy my pirated Dvd of Kami. Pasar Malams don't sell Malay Dvds :( Maybe I should support Malaysia and buy the real one. But it's RM29.90. I've being a little stingy nowadays. Need to save. If not I don't have enough money to buy materials to do my models. If not I don't have enough money to print my presentation boards. It's all about money -.-" So I guess I won't be buying it after all. Topic 2 - The sky is smiling at me :) 1st December 2008. The day I finished my final project for my term 1. I saw a smiling star :)  It was there smiling at me :) Does that mean that I'll get good marks for my term 1 final project? Haha. It's said that the star was supposed to be Venus and Jupiter. And the moon was the moon of course. People all around the world was able to see it. It must be my lucky day to see it too :) Topic 3 - Twilight.  My craze for Twilight. I was hoping that the movie was going to be good. But I was wrong. It was so - so. Didn't understand why some people said the movie was superb. The book was much more better. But I'm still looking forward for New Moon, the next episode of Twilight. Hope it's going to be good, since they're changing the director. And I heard that it'll be the director from the Golden Compass.. Whee.. It's going to be more exciting. Can't wait for end of 2009 to come :) Topic 4 - I'm So Slow. I can't believe that I just realized that I'm in Term 2 of my Year 2. It must be because there was no holidays. Made me blur. I was thinking, why did my Interior Architecture in Context class starts in the middle of Term 1? In the middle of nowhere? Rupa-rupanya its already Term 2 -.-" I hate IAC classes. IAC classes is the main reason my results drop like shit -.-" Topic 5 - I'm Sick! Hehehe. I was sick just now. Food poisoning which leads to fever. My tummy aches badly, I can't even sleep the whole day. But now I'm fine. It must be the Oldtown Cafe's fault. Because I never ate in the morning and afternoon. And I had my dinner there. This series has been aired on 8tv since 5th September 2007. And it turned out to be a good tv series show. And now Kami. The Movie is coming out! Its good to see that they are featuring and introducing underground bands in the series with the performances during gigs and the conversation between the casts. Whats more, soundtracks are also from bands like Bittersweet, One Buck Short, Meet Uncle Hussein etc. With very good songs from Malaysian artists. To me they're good. Everything is good.  The cast is good. The music is good. Even Liyana Jasmay is good. (Lyn)  And not forgetting Abu (Nas Muammar Zar) who always come to my Starbucks!!! But I'm just wondering, who would ever see a Malay show with me in the cinema? Not even Hsien Wen would do that. I'm so sad, I guess I have to buy a DVD then. Why won't you all appreciate Malaysian movies? They're good, some of then =P Not including Senario. I know its funny. But it's kind of lame to me. Pasar Malam, here I come... I'm going crazy because I don't have any work to do. This is not what I expect on my first week of college. I dislike group work. I already dislike group work when there's only 5 in a group. The whole series of it, which consists of 4 books. Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn. I know I'm a bit late, the last book came out like few weeks ago. And I realized that it was a good book. So I have all 4 of them now, which made me lost more than 10% of my salary T.T  The book is about vampires and love. Which is a quite interesting book. Very addictive too. Even my mom is reading it with me now. She's catching up with me soon.  Since I have a week off from work, *thanks to Uncle Lee Hsien Wen* for delaying my time to send in my schedule. Haha. I can now read my book everyday :) And I will not blog till I finish my book haha. Currently reading my 3rd book. Each book have around like 500++ pages. Haha. Not that much. Ming Yao said that the words are too big, that is why I'm finishing the book so fast. I guess he's just jealous I understands it and he doesn't =P Thirsty for more!!! I can't wait for TWILIGHT movie to be release!!! I don't care about Merdeka, since no one asked me out. So I care more about my book! The cafe at the smoking corner was almost empty, people were afraid to sit or even hang around the area. Business was decreasing due to the horrid incident. There was only two men outside. Each beside a pillar where there was a power point, for their laptops. I warned them to sit in a safer place inside. But they ignored me and told me that the weren't afraid of those bad people. It was then, three police men came to understand more about the previous incident. Three of them, two Malay and one Indian police, with a big belly hanging onto their body. Just when I was talking to a police man, I heard someone shouting outside. The man by the pillar was trying to protect his laptop from being snatched. The thief was a small size youngster, wearing a long sleeved white shirt, with a tie around his collar, which makes him blend around all the other office workers. We could have never guessed that he is a snatch thief, with a dressing like that. While the victim was a really big man, tall and big!!! The snatch-thief took his hand phone and ran to his friend on a motorbike. Two police chased them. At the turning of OCBC Bank, when the gap was far enough, the police shot at the tag-teamed snatch thieves. I guess he's skill wasn't good enough, because he missed -.-" And the sound of his gun shot reminded me of the days when I was in a 100m race in primary school. The same sound that was used to start the race. How weak the sound was. No wonder when the parang incident, the police came with Pump Guns instead of their regular hand pistol. Because their normal pistol was weaker than the parang. So that was all, and the management is still so stingy to get us a CCTV. With 6 million earning a month, they say they can't afford a CCTV for us? Bullshit! ♥♥♥♥♥ you brought colours back into my life ♥♥♥♥♥ Tuesday, August 26, 2008 Cries were heard all around the corner. I guess it's just not a good day for a drink at Starbucks. Just in a nick of time, many things happened. A lady was snatched by a tag-teamed snatch thieves, which left her crying in hysteria. She couldn't even stop crying. Guess she was too terrified. Her laptop was gone. The police came to take her home. But it wasn't long until the police had to return, for another snatch thief. This time, two police cars came. Four men armed with Pump Guns, hoping to shoot down the die hard thief which was causing all the scenario. Four thieves, one with a baseball bat and the other with a long parang, while two was on their motorbikes waiting, was long gone, before the police took came. The man with a parang threaten a group of three to surrender their belongings which included a laptop, hand phones, and wallets. The three customers were terrified. But they were brave enough to refuse the invitation. The man with the parang was so arrogant. He lifted his left hand up in the air and the other hand with the parang, chopping hard down onto the table, scaring the customers. Evidence was left on the table with 10 or more deep cuts. Glasses dropped onto the floor by frighten customers. All of the other customers nearby ran inside the cafe to hide, to be safe from the monstrous and crazy thieves. In just seconds, the thieves got hold of laptops and hand phones. And were gone from the scene. Leaving hearts broken... leaving pain... and leaving the... DAMN PARANG CUTS ON MY TABLE!!! It really seems like France to me, in my dreams. Except for, there were too many Malaysians there -.-" Suddenly France was full of Malaysians. Or maybe it was because Malaysia took over them?  Wait? Rapunzel is from France too? But this one is a male Rapunzel. The story changes as time changes. And now the sex changed too?! This is too much!!! Destination 2 : Japan One place is just not enough for us. So we ended up in Japan. Japan wasn't that exciting. It was because Ming Yao was having all the fun. He had the chance to visit his concubines there. And look at his reaction, he's just so happy that finally he can... well... show off his "abilities". He's finally a man! Haha. Sad. ♥♥♥♥♥ you brought colours back into my life ♥♥♥♥♥ Saturday, August 23, 2008 Bentong, has never crossed my mind as a place for trips or holidays. Its just a place I go to once every year, for family gathering in Chinese New Year. And I always thought that the citizens who lived there, are all old men and old ladies (uncle & aunties) No wonder we call Hsien Wen, uncle. But I'm just glad that everyone enjoyed the trip, as much as I do. Bentong can be a fun place after all :) But I'm still sticking to my rule = once a year!  Hsien Wen has been promoting this since ages ago. And now we can finally eat shu shu fan! His favourite supper. Bentong is all about food. They have good foods there. But sad, we didn't have time to try all of them. I really wanted to eat Bangalee Mee, Chee Cheong Fun, Kaw Po Ice Cream Beef Noodle. But didn't have enough time :(  Even Anna seems to be enjoying her food :) And of course Johnathan, he eats everything. Quantity is more important than quality to him.  Didn't know that Bentong is a good place for haircuts too. Look at all of us, getting new haircuts lol. Ming Yao was finally looking like a man, after the haircut. Before this, I thought that he was prettier than me! You should see how jealous I/we were before his haircut! Haha. Lucky for him, he is no longer pretty anymore.     Guess Ming Yao was so sad because he was no longer the pretty one.  He was trying to be far from us. Siting alone by the wave. Trying to hide the tear drops hanging in his eye. Haha. I'm so bad. Maybe I interpreted the story wrongly lol.  Chamang Waterfall looks so beautiful. I've never been there before. Because my father would not let me step foot at the waterfall. Because many people died there lol. It's a dangerous place to play. The water is so deep down. It can be shallow and suddenly it goes deep, real deep. Scary, but still beautiful. Anyway, every trip has a reason. And why Bentong of all place? It's because it's my darling Pet Pet's birthday!!! Haha. Happy Belated Birthday Uncle Wen!!!  Look at his cake!   It's a custom made double storey cake. Just like those wedding cakes. I wished I had one of those for my birthday. I wish that I'll have a 21 storey cake for my 21st birthday!!! Hahaha. China has waited 7 years for this moment. I hope their effort works. It's going to be exciting. I wished I was there. The Olympics medal is the most prestigious medal ever in any sports event an athlete can ever get. Just because they are competing with the world's best. Ever since I was a kid, I wished I was an athlete. Ok, maybe I had too many dreams when I was a kid. Made too many planning for my life, I wondered whether it will ever come true?  The Beijing National Stadium. Also known as Bird Nest. It's beautiful right? Was designed by Herzog and DeMeuron from Swiss. This stadium will host the competitions for the Olympic 2008.  One more thing I love about Beijing Olympics is the mascots!!! They are so adorable. I wished I own the dolls. Bei Bei, Jing Jing, Huan Huan, Ying Ying, and Ni Ni. They all look so adorable!!!  I'm so looking forward to the games!!! and I'm cheering all of you, Malaysian athletes! Go go go!!! Bring back home a medal. That's why I hate politics. Everyday, there's news about him. I really seriously pity him. What the crap? He's just came out not long ago, and now they're trying to bring him down again? He's such a big threat huh? Scared of the threat he'll bring to the whole political system? Because he has darn lots of fans! Count me in too. As always, everything has a 2 side story. It's just which side you're on. But where is your heart? No, where's their heart? Give him a break. He's old and it's not like 10 years ago, where he can fight for his rights, but still lost -.-" I guess the government needs a better story to bring him down again. Sodomy? If you love songs with lyrics that are sometimes tug at heartstrings... If you love Chinese mixed English songs... If you love the song which I'm playing in my blog... then you would love Joanna Wang. But I still think that the Chinese mixed English version of Let's Start From Here sounds better than the English one. I just wished that I could find the "pinyin" for that song. I would really wish to learn to sing her songs. I actually can't speak Mandarin, or maybe I'm just not good at it? But I secretly love Chinese songs. I love Chinese songs more than English. My manager is out to the Market which left me in the store alone by myself. In front of me, from my view now, I can see the golden arches of McDonald's, dancing... seducing me to get near them. Fries!!! No, mom says I'm putting on weight, after since I got this job, I get all the good foods and drinks I want. Fries are not good. They are bad!!! It makes no difference after eating them because carbohydrate snacks makes you even hungry. You eat them, and you ask for more. And you get it, plus you gain a few more weight. Very fair right? As people are too poor to buy a car, and also because of the rising petrol prices. Even motorbikes are expensive to ride nowadays, for RM20 is not enough for a full tank. Even the News Straits Times recently ran a short story about people turning to other modes of transport. Like buses, LRT, and bicycle because of the fuel hike. And there was also a Reuters piece in the Straits Times, about US promoting bicycling as gas prices soar. And if you're lucky enough, you'll catch me cycling around Damansara too. It used to be tiring to me. But now I did it because it was fun. I continued to do it, more than ever, because it was fun. Saving money and the environment, while getting healthier at the same time. I hope that by cycling i can reduce the fats i get, from all the free beverages and food I consume in work.
